Cats with IBD and asthma

Posted by Amelia on 4th Apr 2024

I use this for my cats who have Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and asthma. I bought it to help with long term digestion issues. On its own, it didn't cure the IBD related diarrhoea, we needed dietary changes as well to fix this, but I also hope that it helps with their immune system overall.

Great supplement

Posted by Tanya Dean on 20th Aug 2023

The ingredients in this are fantastic for dogs with bowel disease.
To help my dog consume all the powder I have ground some dog biscuits, at some of that to the whole biscuits and the enterogenic, then the powder and ground biscuits are all licked up.

Pro-Kolin Enterogenic

This product comes in sachets in powder form, making it very easy to sprinkle over my dog's food. I ended up mixing it in with some mashed pumpkin, as that way my dog licked it all up.
The recommended dose was still too much for my dog, so I reduced it. Trial and error is needed to work out the best dose. Too much and excess fluid in the bowel seems to be the issue.
The only negative is that 2 sachets are joined and they are not easy to separate. But that's a minor issue.
