Works
Works well for my cats atopic dermatitis. Cats hate the taste so buy yourself empty capsules online and fill them with the liquid, my cat isn't fussed taking it in pill form.

Atopica
Works great but administering it is causing trauma to my cat. It smells, he hates it and drools it out, scratches me in fear when trying to put it down his throat. Have tried putting it in food but he refuses to eat it. The syringe that comes with it has already lost all the measurements off it as well. I wish something could be added to this medication to make it more palatable for him- or make it as a tablet. He is a young cat, overweight from steroids for his whole life and this is helping him but giving him 8.5 every day is a challenge.

Atopica
Agree with some of the other comments that this both smells and tastes horrible and such an effort to get down every day! Why can't you get capsules for cats like you can for a dog? I've tried so many medicines for my allergy ridden cat and all taste horrible, including the topical creams. Dogs seem to have a wider variety of better tasting medicines.

Difficult to administer
My cat absolutely hates Atopica which is an issues as he has to have it for the rest of his 9 lives to stop indolent ulcers. The smell is clearly horrid (he recoils physically), and the taste appears to be worse. Hiding it in food doesn't work, and putting it down his throat has turned him into a food refusing toddler (think lips clamped shut and head moving side-to-side). Good luck if you have to administer it! (But it does work so persistence is the key).

I have a 9 year old cat which has been on and off meds her whole life due to skin problems.
So far Atopica seems to be working will she is looking the best she has in years.
Only down side is its bitter taste making her drol straight after taking it . -
