I think this product has helped my cat who was not expected to live very long with kidney disease. it is 16 months now and he is still going strong.

Our elderly cat is on the medication as prescribe by his vet at this point in time due to his extreme age, the hard life he led prior to his rescue and the short time he has been on it we cannot att his stage judge to what level it has helped him.

Best price and extremely prompt service

Having had my cat recently diagnosed with kidney disease, my local vet provided me with a 30ml bottle of Semintra for $109.75 which only lasted a few weeks. At this rate, this would be a significant addition to my household spending. I Googled Semintra on-line and found that it was available in 100 ml as well as 30ml, and Pet Chemist had the best price of $125.95. This represented the best value I could find for Semintra, and almost three times more cost effective than my local vet ($1.26/ml, c.f. $3.65/ml), with no shipping charge. The only inconvenience was getting a prescription from another vet to be able to order, but once scanned and e-mailed to Pet Chemist, my order was acknowledged immediately, I was kept up to date on the progress of my order, and it was received within three days. I was very impressed, and means it won't be nearly as much of a financial burden to keep my much loved old bloke going as long as possible in the best possible health.

    Semintra

Excellent product. Since following a renal diet and using Semintra every blood test for my cat has been in the normal range. When this was unavailable during the COVID import restrictions I had to rely on a compounding pharmaceutical product which my cat resisted due, I think to the almond oil carrier base. I feared it would really put her off taking oral medication but when we once again resumed Semintra all was well. She takes it without hesitation. Very happy cat and owner.

    Semintra

I obtained excellent results with Semintra. My cat was diagnosed with kidney disease in March 2019 and in July 2919 her blood results were near enough to normal. March Creatinine was 550 and in July it was 139 - well within the reference range of 27-176. March Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) was 19 and in July it was 8.2 also within the reference range of 3.6 to 10.7.
I think we were fortunate in that the kidney disease was diagnosed fairly early.
I initially chose Semintra as I am not very skilled at giving a tablet and my vet claimed good results with it. The liquid squirted into her mouth with a syringe is very easy to administer but more importantly my cat seems to really like it.
