Feeding Guide

• Prepared food may be stored refrigerated for a day or frozen for up to 2 weeks.
• Feed according to the below table of daily feeding estimates.
• For reptiles fed less frequently, multiply values by the number of days between each feed. 
• For temperature of 25ºC = multiply value in table x 0.7.
• For temperature of 35ºC = multiply value in table x 1.5.

Guide for mixing supplement:

• Meat mix: Mix 10g (1 level scoop) of powder with 20g minced meat, fish or hard-boiled egg. Add extra water to moisten if necessary. Mix in live insects to encourage feeding.
• Vege mix: Mix 10g (1 level scoop) of powder with 50g finely diced fruit or vegetables.
• Soft pellets: Mix 20g (2 level scoops) powder to 12mL of water. Slowly add the water and mix into a putty-like consistency. Break-off small pieces and roll into soft pellets and feed. Drinking water should always be available.
• Liquid slurry: Mix 10g (1 scoop) of Reptile Supplement with 25mL of warm water. Mix well and let stand for 1 minute to absorb all the water. If too thick, add a little extra water and re-mix.

Feeding recommendations by species:

• Turtles: Feed a variety of live food (insects, crustaceans, feeder fish) with Reptile Supplement prepared as Meat-Mix or Soft Pellets. Avoid contaminating the aquarium by removing any uneaten food. Do not overfeed.
• Bearded Dragons, Blue-tongued Lizards & Larger Skinks: Feed a variety of live insects and plant material with Reptile Supplement prepared as either Veg-mix, Meat-mix or Soft Pellets.
• Small Skinks, juvenile dragons & Geckos: These are mainly insectivorous and should be fed a variety of live insets and Reptile Supplement prepared as Meat-mix or mixed with water to form a moist crumble.
• Goannas & Snakes: Feed whole-body prey items injected with Reptile Supplement Liquid Slurry at the rate of 5mL per 50g of whole prey.
