Popantel Tapeworm Tablets for Dogs and Cats control of tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia pisiformis, T. ovis, T. hydatigena and Spirometra erinacei) in dogs and cats, and the hydatid tapeworm (Echinococcus granulosus) in dogs and cats.
Active ingredient: Praziquantel 50mg
Dosage and Administration
Give one (1) tablet per 10kg of body weight (for Spirometra erinacei give 1 tablet per 2.5 kg body weight).
- Hydatid tapeworm in dogs: Treat every six weeks, dogs should not be allowed to feed on offal from any species.
- Other tapeworms treat every three months, and treat pet regularly for fleas.
- Pregnant bitches and queens treat prior to mating, before welping/kittening, and then every three months.
