These worm tablets for large dogs treat your dog for all 11 gastrointestinal worms. Each tablet treats a dog up to 20kg for 3 months for Roundworm, Hookworm, Whipworm, and Tapeworm (including Hydatid Tapeworm). Aristopet All Wormer for Dogs is safe to use on puppies from 2 weeks of age.

Indications

For the treatment of Roundworm (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), Hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala), Whipworm (Trichuris vulpis), Tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia ovis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis) plus the Hydatid Tapeworm (Echinococcus granulosus). Does not control Heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).

Contraindications

  • Do not use in dogs less than 1.5kg in body weight
  • Do not give to puppies under 2 weeks of age
  • Does not control heartworm
  • This medication should not be given to animals allergic to the ingredients

Active Ingredients - each tablet contains

  • 1084mg Oxantel Embonate
  • 286mg Pyrantel Embonate
  • 100mg Praziquantel

Dosage

  • Give one tablet per 20kg of bodyweight
  • It is essential to weigh your dog correctly to avoid underdosing

Dosing Schedule

  • To ensure your dog is always protected, write the date, dog’s name, and weight on the Worm Control Chart to keep an accurate record
  • For Hydatid Tapeworm, dogs should not be fed, or allowed to feed on, offal from any species
  • Dogs in Hydatid areas should be treated every 6 weeks
  • For other Tapeworm, treat every 3 months
  • For Roundworm and Hookworm, treat at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks- thereafter every 3 months
  • For Whipworm, treat every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age
  • For pregnant bitches, treat at mating, before whelping, and then every three months

Directions for Use

  • Weigh puppies/dogs before dosing
  • Fasting prior to dosing is not necessary
  • Give an individual measured dose, by mouth, to each dog
  • Tablets are scored
  • Dogs become reinfested with worms from larvae and eggs in their living environment, so dosing will need to be repeated throughout the dog’s entire life.
  • Treat all dogs in the household at the same time
  • Product has a wide margin of safety for dosing
  • It may be combined with other treatments, for example, heartworm prevention, flea and tick treatments and vaccination.
