Feeding Guide

Feed according to the below table - total daily recommended intake, depending upon the feeding schedule.
Divide into three to six equal daily feedings to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use.
The guidelines are a starting point and your pet may need more food depending on age, activity level and temperament.
Individual requirements may vary depending on pre-existing nutritional status and medical condition.
In patients where normal G.I. function has been compromised by anorexia, a three-day transitional feeding strategy may be necessary.
Always provide plenty of fresh drinking water.
Ensure your pet is always provided with clean, fresh water.

Select a feeding schedule based on the following patient criteria (1 can = approx. 150ml):

Schedule 1: Cage Rest
Schedule 2: Surgery, Sepsis, Cancer, Trauma, Fever, Feline Hepatic Lipidosis
Schedule 3: Severe Burn, Injury or Head Trauma

Daily schedule post surgery/illness/injury:

Day One: 1/3 of daily caloric intake with 2/3 water dilution.
Day Two: 2/3 of daily caloric intake with 1/3 water dilution.
Day Three: Entire daily caloric intake.

I confirm that my pet was examined by a veterinarian who recommended the use of this Hill's Prescription Diet on the basis of their diagnosis;
I understand that it is recommended that I seek veterinary advice at least every 6 months regarding the usage of this Hill's Prescription Diet; and
I understand that I need to seek immediate veterinary advice if my pet’s condition deteriorates in any way whilst I use this Hill's Prescription Diet.

Returns:

Our returns policy lasts 14 days from the date the tracking confirms it has been delivered to you.

We accept returns for up to 14 days from the date of delivery, providing it is unopened and in original condition (including packaging). For these purchases you can return your order for store credit.

You can return your order for a refund if the item is faulty, not fit for the intended purpose or not as pictured on the website. Items returned after 14 days from the date of delivery may not qualify for a refund, or may incur an extra restocking fee.
