Milbemax Allwormer tablets for small dogs weighing between 0.5kg and 5kg is an all wormer tablet for the treatment of all major internal parasites including roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm. If given monthly Milbemax also protects against heartworm.

Milbemycin oxime and praziquantel are the active ingredients in Milbemax.
Milbemycin oxime interferes with nerve transmission in invertebrates, which helps protect against heartworm, roundworm and hookworm. Praziquantel causes muscle spasm in tapeworm, which are then attacked by enzymes and disintegrate. It kills all intestinal forms of tapeworm.

Treatment information:
- Safe for treatment of puppies over 0.5kg from 2 weeks of age, as well as pregnant and lactating females.
- Starting dose at 2 weeks of age, every 2 weeks for puppies
- Transition to monthly treatment from 12 weeks to 6 months of age
- Quarterly (3 monthly) treatments for adult dogs, monthly for heartworm prevention
- Formulated for pregnant and lactating female dogs
