Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Urinary S/O Wet Dog Food - 12 x 420g cans (BW76J) is scientifically formulated for the nutritional management of dogs with struvite or oxalate crystals and lower urinary tract disease. This diet is complete and balanced and can be fed long-term.

  • Dissolves urinary crystals: Effectively dissolves particular urinary stones called struvites.
  • Low RSS: Helps lower the risk of crystal formation.
  • Urine dilution: Helps to prevent urinary crystals.
  • Low Magnesium: This diet is low in magnesium - a component of struvite urinary crystals.
  • S/O Index: This diet creates a urinary environment unfavourable for the development of struvite and calcium oxalate uroliths.

Recommended for cases of (indications): Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence, Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence, Bacterial cystitis: management of secondary struvite crystalluria (in association with adequate antibiotic therapy.) Not recommended in case of (contraindications): Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought), Concurrent use of urine-acidifying drugs, Growth, gestation, lactation, Pancreatitis or a history of pancreatitis, Hyperlipidaemia.
Ingredients Composition: Meat and animal derivatives, oils and fats, cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, minerals, various sugars.

Additives (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin D3: 190 IU, E1 (Iron): 3.4 mg, E2 (Iodine): 0.24 mg, E4 (Copper): 2 mg, E5 (Manganese): 1 mg, E6 (Zinc): 10 mg - Technological additives: sodium bisulfate: 0.56 g.

Feeding Guide
  • Feed Urinary S/O for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence.
  • In older dogs: renal function should be checked before Urinary S/O Canine is prescribed.
  • Feed according to the below table - total daily recommended intake. It is recommended to split the daily intake into two separate meals.
  • It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use.
  • The guidelines are a starting point and your pet may need more food depending on age, activity level and temperament.
  • Always provide plenty of fresh drinking water.
  • Ensure your pet is always provided with clean, fresh water.
