For the treatment of scaly face and scaly leg caused by the external parasite Cnemidocoptes pilae in budgerigars, canaries, finches and parrots.
How to Use
Using a cotton tip or small brush apply to affected area once a day for 3 to 4 days.
Prevent the bird from ingesting material by holding its head firmly during application. Repeat treatment 1 to 2 weeks later to avoid re-infestation. It is essential to apply solution in downwards strokes and keep clear of airways to avoid paraffin clogging airways, which may cause suffocation.
Use sparingly when applying to beak area. Do not apply to more than 20% of body surface area in any one application. Wash hands after use.
