PAW Manuka Wound Gel™ is a sterile medical grade wound dressing made from Leptospermum sp. (Manuka) honey (80%) and natural oils and waxes for wound management. It is ideal for dogs, cats, horses and other companion animals with wounds, burns, grazes and as a general first aid.

When to Use
Use on dogs, cats, horses and other companion animals with:
- Non-healing and chronic wounds
- Traumatic, acute and surgical wounds
- Malodorous and sloughy wounds
- Burns
- Abrasions & grazes
- Punctures, cuts & lacerations
- General first aid
Directions for Use
Wash around the wound with a sterile saline. Apply PAW Manuka Wound Gel™ liberally (approx. 3mm layer) directly to the wound or to a suitable dressing. In addition using a barrier cream can further protect the wound margin. Dressing change frequency will depend on clinical circumstances. It can vary from once per day for draining wounds to up to 7 days for unsoiled dressings. PAW Manuka Wound Gel™ can be removed from the wound by rinsing with sterile saline or water at dressing change.
Safety Precautions
Not for use on heavily exudating wounds. PAW Manuka Wound GelTM is not recommended for body cavities. In the event of a slow or non-responding wound please seek veterinary advice.

Paw Manuka Wound Gel
Love this product.
My dog had surgery & required stitches. The wound was not healing as quick as vet would have liked due to it's positionat the base of tail.
Used wound gel & healed within 3 days.
It is a little sticky but that means it stays on doing it's job. -

Outstanding product. Our dog recently went in to protect me from a red belly black snake. Snake bandage and specialist saved here but the necrotic flesh at the wound site looked like it may require surgery. State of the art specialist veterinary practice sent her home with this after 4 days. They said it was the best would treatment they have ever used. Result, necrotic flesh fell away, wound closed to almost an invisible scar line in 2 weeks. Saved her distress with surgery and amazing product. In our first aid kit all the time now. Worth every cent.

PAW Manuka Wound Gel
I bought this to use on my dog's paw pads, as they tend to be very sensitive during winter and start to crack, especially his front paw pads. It's been great, as it not only heals up the cracks, it further makes a protective barrier on his paw pads, which is a bonus! Additionally, even when he manages to lick at it, I'm not worried at all, as unlike other products, it's not toxic and it still continues to work, which is amazing!
