PAW Hepatoadvanced For Cat And Small Dogs Promotes Liver Detoxification. A concentrated antioxidant supplement to help manage compromised biomarkers of the liver. It is recommended that a veterinarians opinion be sought before and during the use of this product in order to determine the needs of your pet.

Key Benefits

• Contains a stable form of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) – central to the transmethylation, transsulfuration & aminopropylation pathways. Modulates cytokine expression, diminishes cholestasis, and regulates apoptosis
• Contains silybin – in a phospholipid complex – provides increased bioavailability compared to standard milk thistle, increases biliary flow, inhibits leukotriene production, modifies membrane function (inhibits toxin binding), restores expression and activity of antioxidant enzymes
• Contains vitamin E – promotes cell proliferation, modulates gene expression, and regulates cell signalling pathways that rely on reactive oxygen intermediates

Key Features

• Supports glutathione production
• Promotes detoxification of the liver
• Helps to decrease the negative side effects of some medications on the liver
• Supports the liver in cases of acute liver toxicity
• Promotes proper brain function in dogs
• Presented as a tasty, chewable tablet
• Simple and convenient dosing
• Formulated with delayed release technology – promotes steady metabolism by the liver and a prolonged duration of activity

If your pet is currently taking behavioural medication, please consult your vet before using Hepatoadvanced

• Concomitant use of SAMe with tramadol, meperidine, dextromethorphan, pentazocine, MAOIs (selegiline), SSRIs (fluoxetine), other antidepressants (amitriptyline, clomipramine) may theoretically cause additive serotonergic effects

• Silymarin typically has no side effects, but consider drug interactions in polymedicated patients, such as the following: antiviral drugs, drugs affected by cytochrome P450 & CYP3A4 inhibition and drugs cleared via hepatic glucuronidation

Vitamin E

• There are no commonly noted toxic effects derived from vitamin E supplementation, although it may inhibit the absorption of other fat- soluble vitamins when administered at high doses

The same dosage as a 30 pack

Posted by Sylvia Barwick on 19th Mar 2024

I thought I was getting the usual strength. Didn't know the ingredients are halved to the usual 30 pack I've bought before. Still needs 2 a day with this pack so can find cheaper elsewhere for the same full dose. My fault for assuming it was the usual strength pills. Saying that the product does actually work if your mate is having liver problems. Blood test actually showed a huge difference in liver enzymes.

Hepatoadvanced

Fantastic tablet that helps my dog with her liver trouble, one star down because frequently I come across discoloured tablets that are rubbery and can't crush, so can't use

PAW HEPATOADVANCED CAT & SMALL DOG <15KG (30 TABLETS)

Posted by Jodie on 12th Nov 2023

Vet prescribed for my dog to see if helps with high liver enzymes.
Tablet has changed since last was on this product (when branded as PAW Denosyl)
Unlike the previously used Denosyl which was a film coated tablet, these chewables are massive & with a dog that feels unwell in the morning, she will not chew them. I have hidden them in a small amount of Turkey mince just to coat them & she is taking them ok now.
Too early to tell if they have helped with her liver enzymes as has only been 20 days but her cranial abdomen is still sore to touch so not sure if something else is going on

Unfortunately my dog will not take them unless I crush them up with her dry food.

HEPATOADVANCED

Posted by Helga Vannucci on 3rd Feb 2023

I have used HEPATOADVANCED for my dog for sometime. Initially I used Denamarin. The purpose is for Cushings disease, and I am hoping that amongst other medications it will continue to be of help for my dog!!
