SAMe

- Concomitant use of SAMe with tramadol, meperidine, dextromethorphan, pentazocine, MAOIs (selegiline), SSRIs (fluoxetine), other antidepressants (amitriptyline, clomipramine) may theoretically cause additive serotonergic effects
- Use with caution simultaneously
Silymarin
- Silymarin typically has no side effects, but consider drug interactions in polymedicated patients, such as the following: antiviral drugs, drugs affected by cytochrome P450 & CYP3A4 inhibition and drugs cleared via hepatic glucuronidation
Vitamin E
- There are no commonly noted toxic effects derived from vitamin E supplementation, although it may inhibit the absorption of other fat- soluble vitamins when administered at high doses
- Therefore, it is recommended to not exceed a total daily dose of 400IU per dog
- Vitamin E is not recommended in liver disease patients with evidence of vitamin K deficiency

This product has helped my Jack Russell's liver settle down
Blood tests before and after taking this medication showed improvement. He's doing a lot better on it.
Only negative is that the tablets are large and not really chewable. They are more like a large tablet trxture than a chew. I do have trouble getting my jack russel to take it. -

Hepatoadvanced small cat and dog
This is the 1st time I have used these tablets given they are the only tablets available by way of being permanent replacement meds for Denosyl and Denamarin. I can say I am happy that these meds per tablet can be halved for my dogs daily dosage and thus resulting in a full box will.last me twice as long as the previous brands mentioned above. My dog has not noticed any difference and is happy to eat them as per usual so that's a 5☆ in itself.
Thankyou for this opportunity to give my feedback.

good product
I needed to give to my dog doing chemotherapy to protect his liver from the drug. His next bloodwork showed normal level of liver enzymes so I guess it is working. Very expensive but got my vet to sign a prescription to buy online which was half the price. Will need to take it for couple of months so ordered auto ship to make it more cheaper.

It's a big tablet, for a small dog.
I had been told that it would be cheaper if I had a prescription, but you told me it was an over-the-counter product. very expensive for a retiree.

This medication is vital for my elderly dog (Goldie) quality of life. This has definitely prolonged his life expectancy. Fantastic!

Heptoadvanced
OMG terrible, this tablet has a horrible horrible taste, smell and texture. My dog will NOT eat it not matter what I hide it in. It is NOT a chewable table, and it is so dry and scratchy. I have to force it down my dogs throat and it hard for my nearly 16 year only dog to swallow because of its texture. This product is a total failure by Blackmores. Blackmores previous version of this medicine Denosyl was a far superior product.
