The Adaptil Calm Home Diffuser continuously releases Adaptil's dog-appeasing pheromone into your dog's environment to help promote feelings of calm and well-being. Adaptil is recommended for the control and management of fear and/or stress-related behaviours in puppies and adult dogs including:

It comforts dogs in new or stressful environments, and helps them to cope more easily with visitors and strangers.

The Canine Appeasing Pheromone

Lactating bitches naturally produce an appeasing pheromone, which provides reassurance to their puppies, helping them feel safe and secure when encountering new experiences and unknown environments. Note that perception of the appeasing pheromone remains during adulthood.

The active constituent of the Adaptil Calm Home Diffuser is a synthetic analogue of the Canine Appeasing Pheromone at a concentration of 16.5mg/ml.

Directions For Use

The Adaptil Calm Home Diffuser is designed to release the Adaptil pheromone into your dog’s environment. It covers an area of 50-70m2 when used correctly. For it to be most effective ensure that windows and doors are closed, and the diffuser is left on continuously.

Each diffuser vial lasts for 30 days before it needs to be replaced. Avoid placing the diffuser behind furniture, doors or curtains or underneath shelves as this can make it less effective.
